"I like this site for a few reasons... I can send invoices quickly, my clients know exactly what to do next, and I get paid quicker because of it.
HOWEVER! i signed up to use quickbooks online AFTER already using the billing manager and my accounts are NOT linking up. URGH!"

As well, people don't know where to send the check, even though I check the box to include the address on all invoices.

"For my small consulting business I used to use Microsoft Money for customer details and invoicing, I was looking for an online solution so I did not need the ongoing hassle of backups and wanted to be able to access my accounts from anywhere. Billing Manager has everything I have ever needed recurring invoices are outstanding, the ease of the interface when creating invoices and estimates have made a my business look very professional. After trying so many other online invoicing solutions billing manager for me is by far the best, the iPhone interface is great too. I Highly recommend Billing Manager to any small or consulting business."

"Hey I just noticed a bug in your contacts system. It seems as though when you click delete on a contact from a page it always refreshes back to the first page. Kind of a pain if your trying to weed through your contacts and delete them one by one. Also you may want to be able to display more than 10 at a time (maybe a button that allows you to set the number displayed would be best)"

"I have recently started using Billing manager. Overall I find it a useful tool. I do wish it was a little more intuitive. If you start to look for a company's invoice and don't type the name exactly the same way in the search field, the result shows "nothing found". Seems to me the result screen could show all results with a similar name or containing one or more keywords. Why should I have to type "Acme Wig Company", when most search engines would give me a result if I only typed "Acme Wigs". Billing Manager does not see these two as being related.

But, my biggest issue is the fact that I cannot import invoices into QuickBooks. I literally need to retype each one again into QB after I have sent it to my client. Seems the 2 programs should connect in some way.

Thanks for a good product. I'm looking forward to improvements.

"This is a great service but it really needs paypal integration. Many of my customers pay via credit card and I simply have to send them an invoice from PayPal, in addition to this invoice.

I'm hoping that PayPal beefs up it's invoicing system (plain text only right now) soon so I can stop using your service, but if you could offer at least some type of PayPal integration I may stick with it even if paypal enhanced it's invoice service (paypal has a ways to go overall compared to billing manager)."

Still not suitable for UK market Date: December 15, 2009
"Looking at the forums, customers have been asking for the currency option for a long time and Intuit have finally added this facility. However the service is still not really suitable for the Uk market as they still do not allow you to change the date format from mm/dd/yy.

For the UK market this is just going to confuse our customers; issuing an invoive with date 12/11/09 (Dec 11th) will be seen as 12th Nov in the UK.

Billing manager looks really good and I'm keen to use it (currently using Quickbooks simple start) to benefit from being able to send recurring invoices but these small issues are a big deal in the UK.

Also although I understand why Intuit don't want to impliment this; being able to add a PayPal button would be very useful."

Very Simple, Yet Very Slow Date: December 9, 2009
"The features and functionality in Billing Manager are very solid, and does a good job covering the bases, but the service is very slow. Changing from page to page takes 5 - 10 seconds, when it should take a couple of seconds. Even logging in takes 10+ seconds.

The iPhone optimized feature is nice, but I wish I could access my estimates from the iPhone interface or at least switch to the regular site to get the extra feature..

Overall, if they continue to update Billing Manager it should become a good rival for Less Accounting or Freshbooks."
